Delete Your Rhythm Account

You can request deletion of your Rhythm Lighting account and all associated data at any time. This page describes what gets deleted, what may be retained, and how to submit a request.

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your account, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your Rhythm account.

We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.

Data That Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

  • Account Information: Email address and authentication credentials.
  • Hub Credentials: Your Philips Hue bridge credentials and any other connected hub credentials.
  • Light Configuration: All lighting preferences, schedules, scenes, and settings.
  • Hub Details: Information about your connected smart home hubs.
  • Location Data: Any location data synced to your account.

Data That May Be Retained

We may retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. This may include anonymized telemetry data that cannot be linked back to you personally, and limited records required for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. Retained records are kept only as long as required by applicable law.

Local Device Data

If you used Rhythm Lighting without signing in, your configuration is stored only on your device and is not on our servers. To remove that data, uninstall the app or clear its storage from your device settings.
