Unbox
In the box: LightHub Zero, USB-C cable, 20W adapter, a small foldout card with this URL on it.
Power on
Plug the hub in. The status light will pulse amber for about 20 seconds while it boots, then stay pulsing amber until you pair.
Pair with the app
- Open Rhythm. Tap
Add device → LightHub. - The app discovers the hub over the local network and asks you to confirm the serial on the bottom of the unit.
- Approve. The light goes solid amber, then solid white once it's online.
If it doesn't find your hub
Most common cause
Your phone is on a guest network or a separate VLAN from the hub. mDNS
discovery is blocked across most VLANs by default.
Fixes, in order of how often they work:
- Move both devices to the same Wi-Fi network
- Allow mDNS / Bonjour traffic between segments
- Plug the hub into Ethernet to rule out 2.4 GHz noise
