With an Account

If you choose to sign in, we collect and store the following information to enable cross-device synchronization:

• Hub Credentials: Your Philips Hue bridge credentials, stored securely in our database.
• Light Configuration: Your lighting preferences, schedules, and settings.
• Hub Details: Information about your connected smart home hubs.
• Location Data: Your location is used to calculate sunrise and sunset times for optimal lighting schedules.

Data Storage and Security

If you use Rhythm Lighting without an account, all data remains stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

If you sign in, we take the security of your data seriously. Your data is stored in Firebase Firestore with security rules that ensure only you can access your own data. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. This server-side storage enables you to access your lighting configuration from any device.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. Your data is only used to provide the Rhythm Lighting service to you.
