Random TV-sync disconnects should be treated as a dedicated entertainment-link problem. Do not build daily lighting routines around an effect that drops after fifteen minutes.

Stability checks

  • Verify the Hue Bridge has a strong wired connection to the router.
  • Keep the TV, bridge, and lights on a simple LAN path without guest isolation.
  • Reduce competing Wi-Fi load near the TV if the sync app depends on wireless control.
  • Update the TV app, Hue app, and bridge firmware.

Use Rhythm for the default state

Let Hue Sync own the temporary screen effect. Let Rhythm own the normal state of the room, including brightness, color temperature, Sleep mode, and the fallback scene when syncing stops.
