If turning on the TV also wakes a game console through the Hue Play or Sync setup, you are likely dealing with HDMI-CEC behavior, not a Rhythm or room-scene problem.

Isolate the trigger

  1. Check HDMI-CEC settings on the TV and console.
  2. Move the console to a different HDMI input or disable device auto-power if available.
  3. Test the Hue Play setup with the console unplugged to confirm the lighting path is not issuing the command.

Keep lighting predictable

Use Rhythm for the room’s normal lighting state and treat TV-sync as a temporary entertainment mode. When the TV session ends, return the room to its Rhythm Day or Sleep profile so the next command does not inherit a strange entertainment state.
